Last night was the Victory Day celebration which is May 9th celebrating the victory over Germany during WWII. They had a great drama presentation and plenty of fireworks. There were also thousands of people carrying torches last night up the 400 + stairs from the bottom of the city to the top of the hill, quite a site. It was quite a crowd to say the least. Kerch is considered one of the 11 hero cities in Ukraine for what they endured during WWII.
